ProShares Banks On Leverage, Shorting
ProShares, the world's biggest provider of leveraged and short ETFs, released Thursday a so-called "geared" pair of regional U.S. bank ETFs. Ultra KBW Regional Banking (KRU) doubles the daily returns of SPDR KBW Regional Banking (KRE). Short KBW Regional Banking (KRS) provides the opposite returns of the index on a one-for-one basis.
