Cincinnati - Feb. 14, 2013 - Vantiv, Inc. (NYSE: VNTV), a leading provider of payment processing services and related technology solutions for merchants and financial institutions of all sizes, announced today that it has launched its newest mobile check deposit solution that has the capability to be customized with any financial institution brand. The new product provides financial institutions an effective way to extend their brand presence and geographic reach by making it fast and convenient for cardholders to deposit checks anytime, anywhere. The introduction of the enhanced solution follows the successful launch of Vantiv`s Jeanie-branded app in April of 2012.
"Over forty percent of consumers say they want mobile check deposit1," said Royal Cole, president of financial institution services at Vantiv. "Now with our new, custom branded solution, financial institutions can extend their reach and provide customers even greater convenience with their own branded, mobile deposit app."
Vantiv`s mobile check deposit solution leverages the Company`s powerful Jeanie Network and utilizes check image standards, enabling the deposit app to work with financial institutions` current check clearing and image archive systems so that core integration is not required.
Financial institutions can brand the solution`s mobile deposit app with their own logo and colors and customize content elements. The app is available for both iPhone® and AndroidTM devices, including native iPad® support with autorotation2. Blackberry functionally is also available with the Jeanie-branded app.
Last year, Vantiv launched its mobile deposit solution nationwide after a successful pilot program with Town & Country Bank in Salem, Mo. Since then, Vantiv has experienced sustained, month-over-month, double digit-growth in debit card enrollments.
