The Wall Street Journal reported that Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL) slashed its iPhone 5 production for the current quarter by nearly one half. The news also weighed down shares of Apple supplier Cirrus Logic Inc. (Nasdaq: CRUS) $2.96 to close at $28.62. Apple stock plummeted $18.55 to close at $501.75.
