Retailers report disappointing November sales

Despite record Black Friday weekend sales and some pockets of strength, superstorm Sandy in the end still cast a bigger shadow, leading retailers — the gamut from Macy’s and Nordstrom to Gap and Target — to miss on monthly sales.
