Annaly Capital Management Inc. (NYSE: NLY) offered approximately $839 million to acquire the remaining shares of CreXus Investment Corp. (NYSE: CXS) that it does not already own. Shares of CreXus soared $1.35 to $12.45 while Annaly stock edged up a penny to $14.99.
