MOUNTAIN PARK, OK, December 20, 2011 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who proudly welcomes Robert L. Johnston to the distinguished ranks of leading professionals as a result of his magnificent work in the music industry. As a Guitarist and Vocalist with Wichita Mountain Bluegrass, as well as throughout his brilliant professional career, Robert has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.
Formed in 2004, Wichita Mountain Bluegrass is a six-piece musical group which plays traditional bluegrass and gospel music that is available for all family oriented occasions. They have performed throughout Oklahoma and Texas as well as at festivals in Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and New Mexico, accumulating a sizeable following along the way.
Mr. Johnston, who serves as the group spokesperson, has played the guitar for almost 30 years and the mandolin and bass fiddle for over a decade. With Wichita Mountain Bluegrass, Robert plays all three of those instruments, also serving as a lead and harmony vocalist. He enjoys giving back to the community, which is evidenced by his participation in charity events for disabled veterans.
