DENVER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/16/09 -- HS3 Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: HSTH) announces the installation of the companies N-SIGHT video monitoring system (VMS) into the most advanced Livestock transport trailer yet manufactured. Castane truck manufacturing of Barcelona, Spain has deployed their first computer managed aluminum livestock transport to the US. The transport is fitted with advanced electronics and environmental solutions specifically designed to aid animal welfare.
HS3's ongoing commitment to animal welfare in all areas of the human / animal interaction is demonstrated by this installation. Unique features include an elevator lift pen that raises and lowers several animals to any one of the three internal deck levels. The trailer features automatic vents that open or close when temperature dictates, or one of the twenty-four perimeter mounted automated circulation fans will engage and add water mist to the deck areas cooling the livestock. The driver can control the trailers internal environment by touch screen technology on a hand held computer in the cab. All environmental data of the transport is logged onboard for later retrieval. HS3 has installed hardened cameras alongside HS3's mobile N-SIGHT VMS system, capable of transmitting live video and GPS coordinates while livestock is in transport. Solar panels on the roof and banks of batteries create a self-contained mobile corral, providing onboard diagnostics continuously.
Live video is transmitted to the HS3 monitoring center in Denver where visual verification of all transportation pinch points can be continuously monitored. When areas of concern are observed or corrective action is needed, HS3 monitoring agents alert the appropriate customer. Alerts are designed to meet the specifications of the owner of the livestock. The trailer was designed to increase the likelihood that all transported animals arrive undamaged.
"HS3 is excited to be part of this installation as this again represents our commitment to visually monitor America's food supply from farm to fork," expressed HS3 CEO Mark Lana. Maiden voyages will begin shortly.
