SHAKOPEE, MN, January 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The new band Select Three debuted its first two music videos on YouTube showcasing what many music industry experts believe will be the next big teen pop sensation.
Wally Schmelz, President of TriStar Management Group led the national search to find the next new boy band. After months of auditions, TriStar announced the search was over. Brent Rice (18), Patrick Sieben (19), and Daniel Switch (21), now known as "Select Three" were selected to represent TriStar's new project.
Select Three recently debuted its first Internet presence on MySpace highlighting their new sound.
Select Three just finished recording their first record. TriStar plans to release the self-titled record in Select Three's press kits scheduled to be available on January 30th, 2009.
With record label executives complex and ever-changing challenges in today's music industry, TriStar's intent is to lessen the risk to record labels by financing Select Three's first record and first two music videos. TriStar's objective is to have Select Three sign with a major label that will ultimately launch the new talent. While mixing Select Three's new record, Grammy Award winner, Steve Hodge noted that due to the ages of the talent, the group would attract the teen market, but he also added that the members' voices are so mature; their fan base will far exceed the teen audience. Industry experts also believe the band which is multi-ethnic could also work in their favor.
