Fortis posts $412.1 million loss due to currency deals

Troubled Belgian-Dutch lender Fortis says Wednesday that it has recorded a net loss of 295 million euros ($412.1 million) owing to currency deals and sharp falls in the U.S. dollar and the British pound.
