Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. (TSX: ANS) announced that it plans to take extended holiday closures at three oriented strand board (OSB) facilities in order to adjust production to meet orders. The Bemidji, Minnesota plant will be down from December 24th through January 1, 2007, the Grande Prairie, Alberta plant will be down December 24th through January 7, 2007, and the High Level, Alberta plant will be down December 25th through January 2, 2007.
