BEIJING--August 18, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Excavation work has begun on the foundation for a nuclear power island at the 1,000-megawatt Sanmen Nuclear Power Station in Jiantiao Town of Sanmen County in eastern China's Zhejiang province.
