SUGAR LAND--August 15, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Developers in Delaware are planning five projects for a total of 640 megawatts (MW) to increase the state's power generation capacity by about 18.9% from the current 3,392 MW to 4,032 MW. Delaware's current generation utilizes some form of fossil fuel, and much of the proposed generation would come from renewable resources, including wind and water. Two windfarms are being planned off of Bethany Beach and are being proposed by Bluewater Wind LLC (Hoboken, New Jersey), a subsidiary of Babcock & Brown Power (ASX:BBP) (Sydney, Australia) and Winergy LLC (Hauppauge, New York).
