China Guangdong Nuclear Sets Up Project Company for Wuhu Nuclear Power Project in Anhui Province

BEIJING--August 15, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation (Shenzhen) is accelerating its development of nuclear power projects nationwide. Anhui Wuhu Nuclear Power Company Limited (Wuhu) has been formed by China Guangdong Nuclear (51%), Shenergy Company Limited (SHA:600642) (Shanghai) (20%), Anhui Province Energy Group Company Limited (Hefei) (15%) and Shanghai Electric Power Company Limited (SHA:6000021) (Shanghai) (14%). The establishment of the joint-venture firm cost $29 million. The company will be responsible for the preparation, construction and operation of Phase I of the Anhui Wuhu nuclear power project.
