SUGAR LAND--July 30, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District (Tempe, Arizona) is about 40% complete with the construction of the 400-megawatt (MW) Unit 4 addition at the Springerville Generating Station in Springerville, Arizona. The plant, owned by Tucson Electric Power Company, a subsidiary of UniSource Energy Corporation ( NYSE:UNS ) (Tucson, Arizona), began construction in February 2007. Major equipment included a boiler supplied by Foster Wheeler ( NASDAQ:FWLT ) (Clinton, New Jersey) and a steam turbine/generator by Mitsubishi (TYO:8058) (Chiyoda, Tokyo).
