BEIJING--July 3, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--The Jiangxi Provincial Investment Corporation (Nanchang) announced on June 30 that it plans to build two 1,000-megawatt (MW) units in the Phase III expansion of the Fengcheng Power Plant. A preliminary feasibility study report was approved on June 28. The plant is poised to become a major power source for the provincial capital of Nanchang because of its proximity to the city.
