General Motors ( NYSE:GM ) (Detroit, Michigan), is closing an aluminum powertrain casting plant in Massena, New York, and Pharma giant Pfizer ( NYSE:PFE ) (New York, New York) is expected to shut a production plant in Parsippany, New Jersey.
