Developers to Provide an Additional 2,630 Megawatts of Power to Tennessee

SUGAR LAND--July 1, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--Operational power generation capacity in Tennessee currently amounts to more than 22,700 megawatts (MW), and developers are hoping to increase this output by about 11.6%, or 2,630 MW, at a cost of about $4 billion. The proposed power generation will use hydroelectric, natural gas, waste heat and nuclear fission for production.
