BEIJING--June 16, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--After only a couple weeks of disaster relief, 764 risky hydropower stations in the quake-hit areas of China are fully under control, according to the Ministry of Water Resources. Warning to the downstream Mianyang city area, where more than 250,000 people in the low-lying areas were relocated earlier on the assumption that one-third of the lake volume breached the dam, has been degraded from orange to yellow.
