BEIJING--June 17, 2008--Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)--China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) (Beijing) has signed several supply contracts worth $710 million for nuclear power equipment with Dongfang Steam Turbines Company (Deyang, Sichuan), a subsidiary of Dongfang Electric Corporation (HKG:1072). The contracts include the supply of steam-turbine generators and steam generators for CNNC's Fangjiashan nuclear power project (also known as the Qinshan nuclear power expansion project) in eastern China's Zhejiang province and Fuqing nuclear power project in Fujian province.
