June 25 2008 - On 3 June 2008 Stealth Energy Inc. (the “Company” or “Stealth”) announced that the Bureau of Land Management (“BLM”) had approved the Company’s application to deepen 8 wells at East Teapot Dome. Stealth is pleased to announce that it has now hired Trinity Drilling of Gillette, Wyoming, to drill and deepen a minimum of three of these wells into the Shales at approximately 2500 feet. In the Company’s opinion, this zone presents as favourable for horizontal drilling. Stealth is presently permitted to vertically deepen at this juncture, which puts it in a position, with the appropriate data obtained from the drilling program, to apply to the BLM for horizontal permits. This work is carried out under the supervision of Jake Oil & Gas, the Company’s oil engineering consultants, and is part of the Stealth’s overall program to develop East Teapot Dome. Trinity Drilling is already on site at Teapot Dome and ‘active’ with its crew.
Stealth’s ‘work over’ crew remains on site at East Teapot Dome and has substantially completed its workover program, and is now maintaining and upgrading the total infrastructure, including pipelines, pump jacks and separator towers all with a view to an anticipated increase in oil production. Stealth is pleased to confirm that it expects to ship to Shell Oil approximately 6 truckloads this month 2 of which were backlogged from May.
