Gap (GPS) NewsBite - Downgrade Puts Pressure on Gap

Gap Inc. (GPS) opened at 19.15. So far today, the stock has hit a low of 18.68 and a high of 19.43. GPS is now trading at 18.87, down 0.20 (-1.02%). The stock hit its 52 week high of 22.02 in December and set its 52 week low of 15.20 in August. GPS has been generally up for the past year. A Lehman Brothers analyst downgraded the stock today to "Equal Weight" from "Overweight," saying the retailer is unlikely to meet earnings estimates after its Old Navy stores reported sluggish same-store sales in March.
