Hyatt Hotels & Resorts Now on Board With Amtrak
Amtrak Rail Passengers Can Now Earn Benefits at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has added Amtrak to its esteemed list of travel partners. Members of Amtrak Guest Rewards®, the rail company's frequent traveler program, can now earn up to 500 points for eligible Hyatt stays around the world.

Amtrak provides intercity passenger rail service to more than 500 destinations in 46 states on a 21,000-mile route system. Amtrak serves important Hyatt business destinations particularly within the Northeast corridor including Washington D.C., Boston, Philadelphia and New York.

To celebrate the launch of this partnership, Amtrak Guest Rewards members can sign up for Hyatt Gold Passport® and earn double Amtrak Guest Rewards points for eligible Hyatt stays between December 10, 2006 and February 28, 2007, when they choose Amtrak points for their stay.

"We're thrilled to partner with Amtrak, the nation's hospitality leader in rail travel," said Amy Weyman, vice president of marketing, Hyatt Corporation. "As Amtrak serves destinations for our business and leisure travelers, this new partnership is a great complement to Hyatt's partnership roster rewarding guests for their loyalty."

"After listening to feedback from our members, we are pleased to be able to present the opportunity for our customers to earn Amtrak Guest Rewards points at Hyatt hotels and resorts," said Barbara Richardson, vice president of marketing and sales, Amtrak. "We know our Amtrak Guest Rewards members will receive a top quality hospitality experience whether they are traveling on business or leisure."
