Proctor & Gamble Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NYSE: PG) ended its partnership with Nastech Pharmaceutical Co. Inc. (Nasdaq: NSTK) to develop and market the osteoporosis nasal spray treatment teriparatide. Shares of Nastech plunged $4.99 to $9.00 while Proctor & Gamble stock eased 2 cents to $70.45.
