(NYSE: CYH) today announced the disposition by a subsidiary of its 60 percent interest in NEA (Northeast Arkansas) Medical Center, a 104-bed acute care hospital located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Baptist Memorial Health Care, headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. The transaction also included real estate and other assets, and was effective on October 31, 2007.
