(NYSE:CYH) announced today that River West Medical Center, an 80-bed hospital in Plaquemine, Louisiana, leased from Health Care Property Investors, Inc., has been sold to an affiliate of Shiloh Health Services, Inc., headquartered in Lubbock, Texas. The effective date of the transaction is September 1, 2007, and it was structured as a sale of equity interests.
