Google Inc., and Intel Corp., failed to convince a judge to approve a $324.5 million settlement over claims that the companies agreed not to hire each other's employees. On August 8, 2014, U.S. District Judge Lucy H. Koh declined to grant initial approval to the settlement after stating doubts about whether it was sufficient at a hearing in June. The case is In re High-Tech Employee Antitrust Litigation, 11-cv-02509, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California (San Jose) and was filed in the year 2011. The decision of the court didn't impact the share price of the Company, and on August 8, 2014 it closed its trading session at $68.39.
