For the quarter, total net revenue grew to $40.2 million compared to $5.2 million in Q4 2012. Net income for the quarter totaled $24.1 million or $1.01 per diluted share compared to a net loss of $7.1 million or $0.76 per diluted share in Q4 2012. For full year 2013, total net revenue was $99.3 million compared to $15.5 million in full year 2012. Annual net income totaled $40.4 million or $2.11 per diluted share compared to a net loss of $24.4 million or $2.62 diluted share in full year 2012. Michael L. (Oxygen) announced that it has been notified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that it has completed its review of the Company's non-clinical submission and has lifted the clinical hold on Oxycyte®, which clears the Company to proceed with the clinical development program in the US. AcelRx stated that it forecasts that quarterly R&D expenses through the end of 2014 will be relatively consistent across all quarters with total R&D expenses expected to be in the range of $27 million to $29 million for the year.
