DALLAS, July 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hallwood Energy, L.P. announces first gas sales from its Antioch Gathering System in Arkansas. Natural gas began flowing through Hallwood's Antioch Gathering System and began selling gas at rates exceeding 6 million cubic feet of gas per day (6MMCFD) on July 13 into Mississippi River Transportation Companies natural gas transmission line. This $5 million dollar project to initially install 15 miles of gathering pipelines in White County is nearing completion. Only one well was connected to the system at the time of initial sales, but other operated wells will be added over the next several weeks and ensuing months to bolster sales rates. The company anticipates additional expansion of the gathering system to support the three rig drilling program presently underway.
