Dancer to walk down side of Broad Art Center today
"Man Walking down the Side of a Building" was performed in New York in 2010.
If you happen to be strolling by the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Center today around noon and suddenly notice someone walking down the side of the eight-story building, don’t panic. That’s exactly what you ARE seeing.

It’s a dress rehearsal of "Man Walking Down the Side of a Building," a performance-art piece conceived and choreographed by Trisha Brown, whose legacy in dance is being honored this month by the Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA. Brown’s works will be performed at five different venues, four of them at UCLA.

Dancer and choreographer Amelia Rudolf of Oakland-based BANDALOOP will be rehearsing her gravity-defying stroll today at 11:50 a.m. The actual performance will take place Friday, April 5, at 6 p.m.
