Cal-Main Sales Beat, Feed Prices Remain A Concern
Easter revelers dyed and hunted for eggs over the weekend. But for Cal-Maine Foods (CALM), eggs aren't just on its mind during the holiday. On Monday, the nation's largest egg producer reported a rise in third-quarter sales and earnings. Cal-Main Foods said Q3 earnings rose 17% to $1.27 per share, falling short of estimates of $1.40.
