The report showed that at the end of January 2013, the balances on auto loans totaled $782 billion, which is the highest level since January 2009. The report also showed that total number of existing loans stood at 59 million at the end of January 2013, which is also the highest level since July 2009. The company posted revenue of $558.1 million for the fourth quarter, which represents an increase of 9.50% over the same period in 2011. For the full year 2012, the company’s revenue was $2.2 billion, up 10.20% over 2011.Conversely, Capital One Financial Corp. reported its fourth quarter financial results back in January. The company posted net income of $843 million, or $1.41 per share for the fourth quarter, compared to net income of $1.2 billion, or $2.01 per share reported in the previous quarter.
