Recently I had dinner with Andy Fletcher. We talked about a lot of things from the “I ain’t got time for that” frenzy to the need to understand your customer base and their needs. I got a few laughs out of the discussion but I also learned that I should be a little more connected to pop culture. Andy suggested that I watch more television because my customers certainly are. Because I am always looking for leadership lessons, I am still learning while watching television. In fact, I am finding support for my leadership philosophies in reality TV.
