So if you’re planning to buy an iPhone, Apple has improved its shipping method: it is now offering free next-day shipping on all models of iPhone in U.S., but limited to two iPhones per customer. While the store usually offers free ground shipping for any order over $50, Apple’s order page doesn’t indicate how long the promotion will last.
Aggressive promotion of the iPhone line… It could also be a response to Samsung’s Galaxy S4 or other competitors’ devices that are scheduled to start shipping soon.
Apple is offering the 16 GB iPhone 5 for $199 with a two-year contract through AT&T, Verizon or Sprint. Customers can also purchase the 16 GB iPhone 4S for $99, and the 8 GB iPhone 4 for $0.
If you want your iPhone unlocked and contract free, Apple has that too, but it’ll cost ya. The 16Gb iPhone 5 is $649.00, the 32GB version $749.00 and the 64GB version $849.00.
Strangely enough, the new offer only appears to be available in the United States Apple Store and no other countries: covers all models of iPhone (iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and the latest iPhone 5 models). Apple already offers free standard shipping on orders that total more than $50.
