NCAA Ratings Highest in 20 years (CBS, TWX)

CBS Corporation (CBS) and Time Warner Inc (TWX) see highest NCAA ratings in 20 years.

The AP reported that the NCAA third round games on CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV which were broadcasted on Sunday bought in an average 7.6 average household rating and 15 share. This rating is the highest since 1993, where the rating was 8.5 with 20 share. The ratings rose 19% from last year.

This season is the third season of a 14 year contract worth $10.8 billion for CBS and TWX to broadcast every game of the tournament.

CBS shares were mostly flat during premarket trading Tuesday. The stock has increased 42% in the past year.
Time Warner shares were mostly flat during premarket trading Tuesday. The stock has increased 52% in the past year.
