(Kitco News) - Gold prices are moderately lower and have again slipped below the key $1,600.00 level in early U.S. trading Tuesday. Some fresh technically related selling pressure and a lack of fresh, bullish fundamental news has allowed the gold market to drift lower early this week. April Comex gold last traded down $6.70 at $1,597.70 an ounce. Spot gold was last quoted down $7.00 at $1,598.25. May Comex silver last traded down $0.045 at $28.77 an ounce.
