North Bay Resources Inc. (OTCQB: NBRI) ("North Bay" or the "Company") has issued the following brief update on the status of operations at the Ruby Gold Project.
The Company is currently targeting the end of April as the timeframe in which operations are expected to resume at the Ruby Mine. Weekly road checks indicate that the snow pack at the 5,000 foot elevation has slowly begun to recede. We expect the roads to be clear enough by late April to allow the crew to access the property again, at which point we will announce the startup date for when the rehabilitation work in the Ruby Tunnel will resume.
In other news, and as reported in our last Ruby update on January 3, 2013, we have engaged the services of Mr. Randy Henkle, P.Geo, of Henkle & Associates, to assist in updating the Ruby maps of known resources. This work began last December, and after several months of thorough research and painstaking evaluation of all known data on the Ruby, Mr. Henkle has successfully updated the underground resource maps of several key locations within the Ruby Mine in considerable detail. The results of his work have been compiled into an initial NI 43-101 Technical Report and Resource Estimate on the Ruby Mine. This report is now being finalized, and will be released shortly.
