Stocks Mostly Drop, Give Up More Of Their Recent Gains
Stocks took another step back Tuesday, erasing some recent gains, as troubled European Union member Cyprus showed no signs of resolving its problems. The Nasdaq and S&P 500 lost 0.3% and 0.2%, respectively. On the plus side, they closed well off their session lows and right around the middle of their trading ranges for the session.
