Extreme Weather Hit DSW's Q4 Earnings, Outlook
Bad weather hit DSW's (DSW) fourth-quarter results, according to the off-price shoe retailer Tuesday. And DSW issued weak guidance due to the dismal sales in the early part of Q1, sending shares plummeting. DSW said Q4 EPS rose 35% to 69 cents, but the rise wasn't enough to beat analyst estimates of 72 cents. Sales rose 16% to $594.3 million, less than estimates of $601.8 million.
