Mountain Brook leaders plan meeting with Bentley over U.S. 280

Gov. Robert Bentley is scheduled to meet today with representatives from Mountain Brook to discuss their concerns with proposed changes to U.S. 280. According to al.com, Mountain Brook Mayor Terry Oden, city council President Virginia Smith and Councilman Billy Pritchard are scheduled to attend the meeting. A spokesperson for Bentley’s office said the meeting will focus on their concerns with the Alabama Department of Transportation’s plans for the highway.
