WWT Opens New Sales and Engineering Office in Europe

World Wide Technology (WWT), a market-leading systems integrator that provides innovative technology and supply chain solutions, today announced expansion into Europe with the opening of a new office in London. The new location is WWT’s largest sales and engineering office outside North America and marks a bold expansion into the European market, where WWT is already engaged in annual business that exceeds $100 million in value. The WWT office will be located in London’s business district.

WWT’s London-based European sales and engineering team will have the same high levels of technology certification and industry expertise as WWT’s North American personnel, including the highest certification levels from major technology manufactures such as Cisco, Citrix, EMC, HP, VMware and NetApp. The group will work in close collaboration with the WWT’s global account, technical and supply chain teams located around the world and at the company’s headquarters in St. Louis. The London location will also have seamless integration with WWT’s state-of-the-art Advanced Technology Center that provides customers a way to explore the latest technology trends and examine best-of-breed solutions through product demonstrations, technology trainings, proof-of-concept testing, hands-on workshops and partner events.

WWT specializes in delivering and supporting advanced technology solutions in the areas of data center and virtualization, mobility and borderless networks, unified communications and collaboration, and security. The company also offers a complete array of configuration and integration services and a full suite of advanced logistics, inventory management and supply chain solutions.

“Global expansion is always exciting, and WWT’s new presence in the UK will support even more growth in Europe, as we focus on the financial, media and business services markets,” said Bob Olwig, vice president of business strategy with WWT. “Through our London location, WWT will be launching high-level supply chain logistics and technology integration programs throughout Europe, which will complement our expansive programs already in place in South America, Asia and North America.”
