Apple (AAPL) held its annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday, February 27 and the scarce amount of information that was provided to investors came across as weak. Investors were hoping to hear about strategic plans that Apple may have for the launch of a revolutionary new product or an acquisition that would put the company’s enormous treasure chest full of cash to work for investors. Perhaps even a more uncomplicated approach involving an increased dividend or stock buy-back would have appeased shareholders.
