Hewlett-Packard director Rajiv Gupta is working to fend off a recommendation that shareholders remove Chairman Ray Lane and two other board members, Reuters reports. Gupta said in a letter to shareholders that the board had laid a solid foundation for a turnaround and that what was needed was stability at the company.
