Significant Market Opportunity, Global Reach
The market opportunity associated with this product launch is significant, with the installed base for Oki C3100 and C3200 business color printers now the 4th largest installed base in Media Sciences' portfolio of products. The addition of the product line increases Media Sciences' available market by 2.2 percentage points. At March 31, 2006, Media Sciences believes its available market was 20% of the overall, or addressable, market.
Increased international sales, a goal set by the Company for fiscal year 2007, is anticipated with these new color toner cartridges, as the European market comprises more than 80 percent of the installed base. The Oki C3100 is not sold in the United States.
