(Kitco News) - Gold futures prices are not straying far from unchanged in early U.S. trading Wednesday. Traders are looking for fresh news to drive the markets, which they will get starting Wednesday. The gold and silver market bears still possess the firm near-term technical advantage, which continues to keep speculative buying interest squelched. April Comex gold last traded up $0.40 at $1,575.30 an ounce. Spot gold was last quoted up $0.80 at $1,576.75. May Comex silver last traded up $0.176 at $28.78 an ounce.
