Cyclical stocks can sometimes become big winners -- if the earnings step up big time. Worthington Industries (WOR) is a cyclical with its fortunes tied to the overall economy, which has been less than ideal. Worthington's five-year EPS Stability Factor is 79 on a gauge that runs from 0 (calm) to 99 (wild). Earnings jumped 66% in fiscal 2011 ended in May, but only 8% last fiscal year. The Street expects 25% earnings growth in fiscal 2013.
