Polaris Group of San Diego to Build $50 Million Facility in Chengdu
Polaris Group, a San Diego biotech with multinational collaborations, will build a $50 million drug manufacturing facility in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province in Southwest China. Polaris is currently conducting a global Phase III trial of a biotech drug for hepatocellular cancer. Previously, Polaris intended to build the facility in Taiwan, which is the source of the company’s startup capital.
