Office Supply Retailers Tumble On Merger Announcement
Office Depot (ODP) said Wednesday it agreed to buy smaller rival OfficeMax (OMX) in an all-stock deal valued at $1.2 billion, confirming a merger inadvertently announced earlier in the day.
