Ford moving 4-cylinder production to Cleveland, adding 450 jobs

Ford Motor Corp. (NYSE:F) on Thursday will announce plans to move production of its four-cylinder, 2-Liter EcoBoost engine to Cleveland, from Spain, a source told the Associated Press. The $200 million investment would bring up to 450 jobs to its Brook Park factory, which currently employs 1,300. The smaller four-cylinder engines, which are produced by Ford in Valencia, Spain, and shipped to the U.S., have been gaining popularity because of improved gas mileage. Morning Call is compiled from…
