What’s more, there are multiple rumors floating around that the search giant Google is likely to open retail stores by the end of the year in major American metropolitan areas.
I would most certainly love to see a “Google store”.. being able to try their products (like the Nexus line of phones & tablets, or Chromebooks) would definitely be awesome!
Google does not have as many products as Microsoft and Apple. These stand-alone shops will reportedly carry Chromebook , Nexus 4 smartphone and Nexus 10 tablet and at some point Google Glass…
Let’s just think for a minute that these rumors are true —

The report comes on the heels of the recent news that Google may open its first retail store within its European headquarters in Dublin.
According to Businessweek, a planning application filed by the company indicates that Google intends to open a store to the public and sell “Google merchandise.” However, in a statement emailed to the media outlet, Google said: “No final decision has been taken.”
“An extremely reliable source” told 9 to 5 Google that stand-alone Google retail outlets would open in “major metropolitan areas” in the US in time for the festive shopping season.
“Google feels right now that many potential customers need to get hands-on experience with its products before they are willing to purchase,” the website reported.
