Welspun Commissions 50 Megawatts of Solar Capacity in Rajasthan

DELHI--February 18, 2013--Researched by Industrial Info Resources India (Delhi, India)--India's leading renewable power producer , Welspun Energy Limited (New Delhi), has commissioned three photovoltaic projects totaling 50 megawatts (MW) of capacity in Rajasthan. Welspun has won these three projects under the second batch of Phase I of India's Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM). Welspun bagged these projects, quoting a tariff of $0.15 per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
